Making your computer experience better one step at a time.

Here's where we talk about all the cool things about computers. Anything and everything I know about computers is probably going to be on this site, and if it isn't, there's going to be a link to the source of it here. I feel it's important to have this information available because not everybody deserves to get ripped off paying high computer technician fees for problems that for the most part only require general computing knowledge and skills and a few minutes of the end user's time to resolve in Windows XP Home and Pro. Vista is currently a platform that I have transitioned to on the work side of the house but I still use XP Pro at home, therefore some if not most of what's here will be of  value to Vista users as all the scripts work fine on Vista as well. The ONLY exception is if you're using any 64 bit version of Windows. If this is the case then DELTREE and the Cleaning script can not be used as DELTREE  is not compatible on the 64 bit platform.

First and foremost, I want to ensure you that what you're reading is based on years of experience and quite honestly years of trial and error with Windows 2000/XP/Vista.  In this field, you're not always going to find a way to fix something or make something better without first having to break something else. I have continually tried to refine my methods either personally or by incorporating changes found in the work of other people. What you will find here is the information and step by step walk through to applying my methods and seeing the outcomes first hand. What you won't find here is pirated software or anything that could be used to circumvent purchasing referenced software. I'm a firm believer that if you try a product and like it enough to use it after the trial period, you need to pay for it and own it outright. You're going to see references along the way that may suggest something to the opposite of that however, but I am not responsible for how you interpret what you read here.

I decided to put together this website because I've been working with computers for over 10 years and I have seen a lot of changes for the end users and not a lot of explanations or adaptations as to why and how things work and what truly is the benefit for the end user. I won't throw a lot of technical jargon at you and will always try to keep is simple as I can, but there may be times that a reference might be unclear and i'll do my best to avoid that if I can.
